General information [contribute]

Jari Raback (April 2002): You can find commercial products by Expolinear using Podszus-Gorlich drivers - and it seems to me that the famous Ensemble (aka Pawel Acoustics) "PA-1", "Reference" and "Primadonna" models from switzerland (that Ive sold quite a few) used similar drivers!

Wwat Worldwide Audio Technologies (December 2001): Wwat Worldwide Audio Technologies As a service we can repair / recone old Gorlich Elements.

Gotz Schwamkrug (December 2001): Neither Mr. Podzsus nor Mr. ever build eletrostatic speakers, or intended to do so. The name of this (very small) company should therefore be relocated to a rubrique containing dynamic LF-drivers which are suitable for a combination with dynamic mid and treble units. The old Dalesford polyprop was not the best choice for the Shackman, but the Gorlich sandwich diaphragm and the Harbeth polyprop performed very well.

Christian Steingruber (December 2001): I can find no hints that Dr.Podszus or his company ever built electrostatic speakers. They are known for their special, ultra-light sandwich speaker designs, which are compared sonically with ESL but have conventional electrodynamic drive. Maybe the name Podszus-Gorlich should be removed from this section?
