General information [contribute]

TAC (January 17, 2010): The Faraday Sound website is currently offline.

Faraday Sound web site (November 9, 2007): FARADAY SOUND use a specially developed low-density concrete to cast the cabinet. Although not easy to mass produce, this is almost the perfect acoustic material to work with. The new finish provides a beautiful object for you room which will delight with it's looks as well as it's stunning performance.

Our loudspeakers are only sold directly and should therefore be compared (according to Hi-fi Choice) with speakers retailing at considerably more, typically twice the price.

Faraday cabinets eliminate panel vibrations, cutting out unwanted radiation and at the same time allowing each drive unit to function correctly. To see a photo of the new, improved appearance Faraday Siren, click here:

NEW! The new FARADAY Emperor loudspeaker is not fully listed on the website yet. It uses the same cabinet size as the Siren, and is similar in appearance apart from drive unit cone colour which is an attractive marbled slate grey. Using newly available drive units, and a new cross-over design, the Emperor has a sensitivity of 90.5dB and a nominal impedance of 6ohm. This latest offering from FARADAY Sound costs 1395.
